Feadship 230ft Super Yacht
Designed for first-time yacht owners, the Feadship 230 ft super yacht, named Joy, is far more innovative than first meets the eye. The exterior was designed by Bannenberg and Rowell, with gorgeous decks and al fresco areas that offer maximum outdoor lounge and activity space. Done in airy, light colors that keep everything feeling expansive, this yacht offers amenities such as an elongated foredeck with a basketball court, a shaded lounge nearby for onlookers, and a canopy-covered rear that covers the swim platform.
The disco room feels like a speakeasy thanks to the plush seating, wall-sized televisions and colorful mood lighting. The yacht has a dedicated gym open to the deck as well as a tender bay. There is ample room for as many as 12 guests and 17 crew members. The upper deck offers a completely uninterrupted view, making it perfect for special occasions, holiday getaways, or corporate events. It’s an impressive yacht that may look standard at first glance, but is filled with unique attention to detail that will impress upon inspection. Made with drastically lowered bulwarks partially lined with glass, this yacht is a truly open-concept cruiser that is perfect for a first timer or a seasoned sailor.
The interior areas of the Feadship super yacht are just as airy and expansive as the outdoor spaces. Plenty of light and white furnishings are set off by delicate glass detail and metalwork in gold throughout the interior, which was designed by Studio Indigo. A spiral staircase is the yacht’s crowing centerpiece, but guests also have a lift to get from deck to deck easily. This yacht also has a main saloon area for maximum socialization. The seating area is filled with natural light thanks to the floor to ceiling glass panes that fill this area. The unique deck layout was specifically designed to allow as much natural light as possible to fill the interior areas.
Feadship also outfitted this super yacht with plenty of toys, including jet skis, wakeboards, water skis and more. There’s plenty of equipment for fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling, as well as towable toys for even more fun. Guests can stay in the single master suite, a VIP stateroom, five double cabins, and the single twin cabin. Now that the Joy has completed her sea trials near the outskirts of Rotterdam from Holland, this yacht will be available for New Year charter in the Indian Ocean.
