Having lived most of his life in London, Habib Wehbe is not your typical interior designer. Having studied economics at Pepperdine university Los Angeles, undergoing rigorous training for a year at Lehman Brothers in New York, sitting for the 6 hour long series 7 securities exam, which by the way is the longest and most difficult securities exams you could sit for. Then moving back to London with Lehman Brothers where he spent 15 years deeply engulfed in the world of securities trading.

Where all the while a passion for interior design was brewing Habib decided enough was enough. But how does a securities trader realize his passion? “The best way for me was to purchase my own property, design and refurbish it”, this proved to be a very successful approach since when the property was put for sale on the market it was snapped up by the first buyer to walk in. “I was worried that the property might not sell, but absolutely flattered that it sold to the first person who saw it”.

Habib continued buying properties over the years, designing, refurbishing them and selling them, until deciding to move back to his native Lebanon and starting his very own interior design firm in Beirut to service the Middle East region.

With an impressive portfolio of celebrities and high profile clients, with his clients privacy is of utmost importance, Among Habib’s most recent projects include apartments in Noor Gardens& Platinum Tower in Beirut Central District as well Verdun Heights (Verdun), Kronfol Tower  (residence Des Pins) and Holliday Beach Resort (Mont Lebanon). He has also worked on luxurious Villas at the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

“My inspiration comes from all the countries I lived in especially London. I also have great admiration for Milan when it comes to furniture and Belgian Architects for interior Architecture”.  His style marries luxurious decadence with an unerring attention to comfort and detail, providing complete interior design services to both individual clients and property developers, from concept to execution, no two designs are the same; orientation and aesthetics  of the property all impact the uniqueness of the final design which suits the client’s requirements.

We asked Habib to share a piece of advice to all our readers, “Follow your dreams, and realize your passion, its never too late.”
